Last week, marked a big day for "The Wong Family" as future doctor, Wong Chee Keen made his first steps into manhood, no not pubirty but after 21 years of living under his parents watchful eye, he moved out.He is currently a student at the International Medical University (IMU) studying medicine and as part of his course, he will be posted at Seremban general hospital for the next 2 years before going to Batu Pahat to complete his course.
I can tell you that it was not easy for his parents as eversince he officially found a house (rental RM450 a month???!! damn right? Aussie is 100 Aussie dollars a week!) his parents have been constantly visiting, repairing, calling (They even changed their plan to the Maxis Family Value thing where calling family members will be free) and you name it they've done it.
Yesterday my family, his family and I checked out his place yesterday and I have to say for RM450 a month, a 5 bed room, 3 toilet and 1 kitchen house dosen't seem to pricy afterall. Although bills do not include electricity, water and furniture, when you come to think of it how much time does a university student, a medicine one especially have to lepak at home?
Anyway, time for me to get back to brainstorming now for my design studies assignment.
(The Living Legend always knew it was coming, he just didn't expect it to come so fast)
