Human Misperceptions

We know the following people as television host, musicians, radio deejays and basically Malaysian celebrities.

Like for example, the guy below used to be the host for Hitz.tv and is now the drummer for Estranged, we know him as Andy.

Good looking guy right? Speaks perfect English and plays heavy metal drum but who knew who knew he is a Malay (Not that I have anything against Malays). His full name is Azwin Andy Malik.


Now this guy we know him for replacing our ever so cuddly Rudy from the all so funny pair JJ & Rudy. He like Andy speaks perfect English and looks like a typical china-man but again like Andy, his a Malay. His fullname is, Tengku Mohd Ean Nasrun.

Now the guy who I thought was a Malay, JJ turns out to be not. He speaks perfect Manglish ( Malay + English) and dresses up like a typical Malaysian. I've met him a couple of times and his skin tone repsents a Malay type of tone. His fullname J.J. Fernandez.

See the trend? Just because of the accent they had and the way they chose to project themseleves through their jobs, I made a perception which turned out to be wrong.
