China Day 2: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Hutong Village, Temple of Heaven

Day 2 began rather abruptly with a strong gust of wind. First up after having the usual hotel buffet for breakfast, we met up with our personal tour guide, Arthur (Will be introduced towards day 3 & 4) as well as the Director Sales for Asia & Africa of China International Travel Services.

From there we headed towards our first destination, Tiananmen Square:

Don't believe how strong the wind was? Even my sister was blown away!

I blame the ugly hair on the wind!=p

Newest and biggest TV ever to be installed in Beijing!

Next place: Forbidden City

The Forbidden City entrance

A government building and man that was the small part!

Bits and pieces of Forbidden City

Next place: Hutong Village

Parents getting married for the second time in the honeymoon room at a courtyard house

Just like how you see it on TV

I swear to god, I am coming back to buy the place even though it is gonna cost me an estimate RM40 million (4 rooms, public toilet)

Hutong Village sounds old but is so commercialized

It gives a sort of community feeling as oppose to society

Soon once it gets colder, the river will be frozen enough to skate on

Final place: Temple of Heaven
