The Dream, The Possibility & The Reality Part II

As promised I am going to do a follow up or shall I say further elaboration on my "Dream, Possibility and Reality". It is undeniable that when reach the stage of a college student, choices and decisions are everywhere and if not careful, the wrong ones might be made. I have chosen to enjoy my high school life thoroughly and I have to say it was fun but it did not pay off all the time, educationally wise. It is well known that I suck at mathematics...and haha I wish I didn't if not I would have the chance to actually study economics at the University of Manchester or London School of Economics, United Kingdom. Instead now I'm studying foundation in communication/ mass communication at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, which is not a bad thing as I have actually enjoyed and learnt a whole lot during my first semester. When all my friends were taking SAM, A- levels or ICPU, I ended being one of the few who chose this path. No I'm not regretting it but now that I find myself excelling in something I actually enjoy for once which is related to education might I add, finding the top notch universities is now a target for me=)

After days of boring reasearch I found that the London School of Communication, University of Arts London, is a well renowned university for mass communication. The course that I would consider taking is Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Advertising with minor in Event Management. Sounds cool huh? Amazingly after so much reasearch, it is the ONLY institution that seems to offer that course anywhere around the world. Now this place is my dream but understandable my parents are relunctant due to cost. Firstly, it's in London and the currency is a killer. Need I say anymore?

The possibility, would be not only RMIT as my previous post once but more like Australia. Australia is the no.1 destination for most Malaysians but it was not always mine and still isn't but I guess if UK is ever knocked out the window at least I have a back up right? As they say, anywhere is better than Malaysia...haha...Here a few of the institutions where I consider going at the land down under:

  1. RMIT University, Melbourne
  2. Charles Sturt University, Sydney
  3. Murdoch University, Perth
  4. Curtin University of Technology, Perth

The reality would be to further my studies at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in either a degree in Professional Communication majoring in Public Relations or Advertising or either degree in Digital Film & Television. And oh ya did I mention that when I first signed up, they gave me a semester free if I were to do my final year at the London campus?yeah I know sounds cool but it would only be a semester. I know I sound greedy but I want more time there to experience what life would be. But there is a catch, what if my family can't afford to send me to London? I'd be spending my life in Cyberjaya!...LOL

(The Living Legend sounds old and too worried bout the future)
