Fun Outside

This sem, Ms. E decided that it was time to take us out class and go for a field trip but this time it was not to any media hubs or media offices, instead it was to Central Market, Kuala Lumpur.

I know some of you will be thinking what?! But then again i did forget to mention that her subject is Design Studies. As most of you know, Central Market a.k.a Pasar Seni is well known for their artistic value and as well for their cultural vibe.

Basically what we did all day was break into groups of 5 and go around snapping pictures of patterns that we found interesting. Little did we know, the patterns would actually be part of our assignment 2, typography. For those who don't know what typography is, it is basically designing something using letters and in this case, using the patterns and letters to create our very own font!

Once we have the fonts, we are required to create the word "Creativity in Motion". Sounds familiar?well thats cause it is from the Limkokwing fashion show that I attended and blogged about a few weeks back.

Anyway the trip actually turned out to be good, not exactly educationally but we (Students) bonded with our lecturers (Ms. E and Ms. Nicole who is appearing first time on my blog btw). We joked, we laughed, we bullied (Yes, students vs. teachers) and we had fun.

These are the times that I will miss...=)
