how lucky are we?

I come to realise that us children nowadays are have really fortunate lives, some more than others but most of us are enjoying the better side of life. That's the one thing i learn from being an interactor, that you will learn how much other people who are not so fortunate need your help.

Last year me and Sherry help organize a orphanage trip to T-ratana orphanage and it was my 1st success as an BOD member. We got everybody there safetly and got to have fun with small kids which were sooo adorable and i realize how much other people need my help and how if i just take a day off and spend time doing some charity work ,it really does feel good.

This year's Interact I.U Day will be helping alot of people who are in need.We will be donating our profits to Polio Plus,it is a charity sponsored by Rotary International and if you are wondering what is Polio Plus?let me give u a brieft explanation. It is a charity that helps support or fund people who have lost the ability to use their leg and need artificial limp.

It's not very nice to hear people having to use artificial limp but it's happening and i think ALL of us,Seafieldians, interactors and even our parents can do something to help them don't you agree?

So how can you help?

-you can personally donate money for the foundation to us and we promise the money will be going straight to the charity

-you can even help them by buying our International Understanding Day 2008 Badges which is only RM5.Of course we made it for a cheaper price but the profits from the badges will be going to Polio Plus who i believe need the money more than us.

Who can you contact to get the Badges?

-Jamie Lim Hui Yin (5A)

-Jocelyn Wong (5C)

-Jeffrey Johan John (5A)

-Wong Chee Mun (5F)

-Tan Zhili (5A)

(The Living Legend hopes to do as much charity work as possible as the feeling you get for helping is simply priceless)
